Is Website Care included in the website build price?+
Website Care is billed separately from the one-time website build. Every new Web Respawn website requires Essential, Active or Priority Care for an initial 12-month term. After the first 12 months, Care can continue monthly or with another annual prepayment. Ongoing SEO clients receive the Website Care level matched to their selected SEO plan.
Which Website Care plans include the Web Respawn Client Portal?+
Every managed Care plan includes the right-sized private workspace. Standard monthly rates are $199 for Essential, $299 for Active and $449 for Priority. Annual prepayment reduces each recurring rate by 20%. Essential is requests-only; Active adds leads, website health, connected reporting and quarterly reports; Priority adds Search Opportunities and monthly reports.
Can I pay yearly for Website Care?+
Yes. Select Yearly to see the effective monthly price after the 20% discount and the exact amount billed upfront for 12 months. The one-time website build remains separate and is not discounted by this billing choice.
Do I own the website if Website Care is required?+
Yes. After all website-project payments are complete, you own the approved client-specific content, design and custom website code deliverables identified in the proposal. Web Respawn remains the managed host during the required initial 12-month Care term. A transfer can be requested after that term and after all balances are paid.
Why does Website Care cost more than basic hosting?+
Basic hosting primarily keeps website files online. Website Care adds managed hosting, SSL, technical upkeep, monitoring, recovery support and direct help. Essential adds a small update allowance, Active adds two hours and monthly customer-path checks, and Priority adds an unlimited routine-request queue with the fastest scheduling.
Does my website page count decide my care plan?+
No. Page count determines the one-time build scope. Every new build requires Care, but you select Essential, Active or Priority based on how often the business expects changes, how much portal visibility it wants and how quickly requests should be scheduled.
How does the monthly website-update allowance work?+
A routine request is a change to the existing website that can usually be completed in about 30–45 minutes using the current design and client-provided content. Essential and Active time does not roll over. Priority allows unlimited submissions, with one request worked at a time; it is an unlimited queue, not unlimited simultaneous labor. Larger requests may be divided into routine steps or quoted separately. Sustained atypical volume or requests split to avoid project scope may trigger a plan review, revised schedule or separate written scope. New pages, major redesigns, custom development, original copywriting, standalone graphic design and SEO campaigns are outside standalone Website Care.
What does unlimited routine requests mean?+
Priority clients may submit as many qualifying routine requests as needed, with one request actively worked at a time. A routine request is normally an existing-site change that takes about 30–45 minutes using the current design and client-provided content. It does not mean unlimited simultaneous labor, new pages, redesigns, custom development, original copywriting or standalone graphic design.
Are website banners included?+
Yes. Essential can update an existing website banner within its 30-minute allowance. Active and Priority can also add or update announcement bars, promotional banners and simple popups using the website’s existing design. Original campaign graphics, advertising creative or a new design system are separately scoped.
What is a small section refresh?+
A small section refresh improves one existing section using the website’s current design system. It may adjust the layout, images, calls to action or provided content. It is not a new page, full-page redesign or custom feature.
Is Website Care the same as SEO?+
No. Standalone Website Care operates, maintains and updates the existing website; it does not include keyword strategy, search content or SEO campaign implementation. Active and Priority still include their published quarterly or monthly client performance reports. The $900, $1,500 and $2,500+ SEO plans include Essential, Active and Priority Website Care respectively. SEO work follows the selected plan’s implementation capacity and never consumes the Care allowance.
Can I change my care level later?+
Yes. Care can be reviewed as the website or business changes. Plan changes during the initial term and cancellation after it follow the signed service agreement. After the 12-month term, a requested transfer receives a written transition scope so hosting, files, forms, integrations and third-party services are not left ambiguous.
Can Web Respawn care for a website it did not build?+
Possibly. The platform, hosting, code, integrations and maintenance history need to be reviewed before a care plan can be confirmed.
